High Water Events 7/30 & 8/3

High water events this week caused localized flooding along Spring River. This USGS data shows that Spring River at Carthage MO,  rose from 3.56' depth on July 30 at 00:00 (and 240 cubic feet per second flow) to a high of 16.15 ' at 2:45 pm and a 20,200 cfs flow. The second event was August 3; Spring River went from a depth of 4.19' (and 574 cfs) at 3:45 am to a high of 8.9' (and 4650 cfs) at 11:45 pm
